Director of Mathematics
CORE provides expert technical assistance and professional development for K–12 literacy and math programs. Founded in 1995 by Bill Honig, former CA Superintendent of Schools, CORE has worked with hundreds of schools and school districts, and numerous states and regional organizations.
We have an opening available in Northern CA for a Director of Mathematics Services to lead our Mathematics Division. We are looking for someone who is business savvy with a demonstrated history of successful leadership, team building, and strong administrative skills. This position is responsible for staffing, supervising, and developing math educational consultants for professional development services K-12. This position also monitors external math writers and experts, works closely with our editorial department to bring development projects to completion, and markets CORE’s math services to school systems.
The ideal candidate must possess a master’s degree in mathematics; must have prior teaching experience ideally at the high school and middle school levels; at least two years experience leading, delivering, or managing math professional development; experience managing projects. Must also have a deep understanding of current best practices in mathematics teaching and content knowledge K-12.

Literacy/Reading Consultants
We are currently looking for full- and part-time Educational Consultants with at least 5 years of teaching experience who are knowledgeable in one or more research-based reading programs or reading intervention programs used in schools K–12. Credentials in Special Education and/or English Learners preferred; experience as a Reading Coach and/or Reading Specialist is a plus. Bilingual (English/Spanish) desired. Administrative experience is a plus.
Part-time Educational Consultants travel a minimum of 9 to 10 days per month and sometimes to very remote locations. Full-time Educational Consultants travel a minimum of 15 days per month and also sometimes to remote locations. Please email letter of interest and resume to hr@corelearn.com.
